A recent trip to Bath

For once the Bank Holiday weather bestowed us with some glorious sunshine! Spring and Summer are my favourite seasons because it means I can wear my favourite 1950s dresses and don't have to hide them under winter coats!

I went to Bath on the Bank Holiday Monday - it is easily one of my favourite cities in the UK - I love the Georgian architecture.  I am wearing my new-to-me vintage dress - I love the print and the shape but I am not too keen on the wrap style.

There is one amazing vintage shop in Bath - Vintage to Vogue.  They have some beautiful pieces but they do tend to be quite pricey so I don't usually purchase from there.  This time, I went with the intention of purchasing a hat (last time I was in Bath, I left behind a lovely 1940s cream felt tilt hat.)  The hat that I left behind last time was still there but I realised it looked too similar to another hat I own, so I ended up buying a black 1940s tilt hat (which you will see in a blog post in the future!)

I hope the weather for the next Bank Holiday is just as lovely!
